No Game - But Lots of Tired Folks

Friends and Family Night, Sunday, July 26, was a fun event for the Horde faithful.  The house was packed at Bloomington Ice Gardens.  Since no referees were present, the game was a scrimmage and no official stats were kept.  However, we played three physical 20 minutes periods against the Diablos, which ended in a 2-2 tie on the scoreboard (though it was really a 3-2 Horde win).   Will Schultz netted his first goal for the mighty Horde and Bill Messinger made his first Horde appearance, albeit on the Horde bench while he continues to recover from injury.  The Horde skated with a short bench of 10 skaters, including Liam Monihan’s first game at defense, but it did not matter as we held the Diablos to only 2 goals.

We take the ice Wednesday at Breck – 9:30 start.

Go Horde!
